How does the business sale process work?
When you and your business are ready to sell, we will initiate the sales process as soon as you have given us the mandate to do so. In close collaboration with you, we define the ideal buyer profile and also prepare a professional sales prospectus that gives potential buyers a picture of your business’s value and potential.
All initial marketing and contact with potential buyers and investors is done with the utmost discretion and without disclosing information that reveals your company’s identity. We screen everyone who shows interest and only proceed with the most serious buyer prospects. No one is given the company’s identity or sales prospectus without first signing an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). If they break this, they will be prosecuted.
We handle the coordination with your advisors (accountant, lawyer, bank, etc.) and do our part to ensure a smooth collaboration, so you have peace of mind to run your business while the process progresses. Our fee structure also ensures that we never come into conflict with other advisors about who performs which tasks. We always want the tasks to be solved where the skills are greatest.
